How to navigate this website

For desktop and laptop visitors: the menu is located in the top right corner by the website title. You can click on each tab individually to read that tab’s information or you can hover over one of the tabs with the arrow. After a second or two a drop-down list will appear. You can click on one of those to further navigate the website.

For mobile visitors: there is a menu button in the top right corner by the website title. This version is easier to navigate as you can see all of the pages at once. For simplicity, please start at the top and work your way down.

Some pages, like the one titled “The History Behind Immigration Detention in the United States,” has a contents section. Others will have a link to the next page.
